Hospital-based Audiologist opportunity in Lancaster, PA — 13-week assignment starting May 26, 2026. Seeking an experienced clinical audiologist (5+ years) to provide pediatric through geriatric care in a fast-paced hospital setting. - Hours per Week: 40 (5 x 8-hour days)
- Shifts per Week: 5
- Patient Volume: 15–30 patients per day
- Interview Process: Virtual (via Teams)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of audiology experience in a hospital or similar clinical setting (hospital audiologist, clinical audiology)
- Experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations (pediatric audiology, geriatric audiology)
- Proficiency in basic audiological testing (audiometry and tympanometry) and diagnostic evaluations
- PhD not required
- Current state licensure as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic audiological assessments for patients of all ages (hearing evaluations, diagnostic audiology)
- Perform basic testing, including audiometry and tympanometry, in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Manage a daily caseload of 15–30 patients while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care
- Document patient evaluations, progress, and outcomes accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families on hearing health, treatment options, hearing aids, and preventive care
