This travel RN opportunity is ideal for experienced telemetry nurses who want to support adult cardiac patients in a monitored stepdown setting while working with an interdisciplinary healthcare team in scenic North Country.

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
- Floating: Required; may be assigned to appropriate units as needed
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend or as needed to support unit needs
- Documentation: Epic experience within the last 2 years is required
Job Requirements
- Active New York RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing or progressive care experience required
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required prior to start
- Recent Epic experience within the last 2 years required
- Strong background in cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and advanced patient assessment
- Reliable transportation strongly recommended for this location
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care for adult patients with complex cardiac and progressive care needs
- Monitor and manage telemetry patients with conditions such as ACS, heart failure, post-cardiac cath, and hemodynamic instability
- Administer and titrate cardiac drips, insulin drips, and other monitored infusions per protocol
- Perform IV starts, EKGs, and post-cardiac catheterization care
- Assess patients frequently and respond to changes in condition with clinical judgment and urgency
- Collaborate with the care team to support safe, coordinated patient outcomes
- Float to appropriate units when needed and serve as a dependable member of the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit standards, safety practices, and telemetry protocols
