- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Job Type: Travel RN / Contract Registered Nurse
- Setting/Unit: Cardiac Stepdown / Telemetry (may float to similar units)
- Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 7:00am – 7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm – 7:30am)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Start Date: June 12, 2026
- End Date: September 11, 2026
- Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Cleveland healthcare / Ohio nursing job)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown, telemetry, or stepdown experience (travel or permanent)
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active, not pending)
- One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the cardiac/stepdown specialty required
- Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and every other holiday as scheduled
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (cardiac telemetry skills required)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery in a stepdown/telemetry setting
- Monitor cardiac telemetry, assess rhythm changes, and respond promptly to patient condition changes
- Document patient progress and communicate care plans with interdisciplinary teams including cardiology and surgical services
- Float to similar units (J1-2, J33, ED) as needed to support operational needs
- Participate in onboarding, ongoing education, and required competency assessments
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
