Lead Financial Strategy for a Growing Skilled Nursing Network
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial operations of a growing network of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers. This is a high-impact executive role for a leader who thrives in building infrastructure, driving operational efficiency, and strengthening financial performance across multiple facilities.
This CFO role presents an opportunity to build and shape the financial infrastructure from the ground up. The organization currently supports 8 skilled nursing facilities, with continued growth anticipated. The ideal candidate brings deep Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience and understands the financial nuances of multi-site post-acute operations, including reimbursement, census management, cost controls, and regulatory compliance.
This organization supports a group of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers with strong leadership, structured financial guidance, and data-driven decision-making. While each center operates independently, all share a commitment to excellence, accountability, and compassionate care. The network is focused on investing in people, technology, and processes to create stability and sustain long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and long-term capital strategy
- Build and transition accounting operations in-house
- Establish scalable systems, policies, and internal controls
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and margin improvement strategies
- Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and financial reporting functions
- Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and performance analytics
- Strengthen budgeting processes and facility-level financial accountability
- Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
- Manage banking relationships and capital structure
- Oversee audits, lender reporting, and financial partnerships
- Lead and develop a team of approximately five direct reports
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Required: Extensive SNF / long-term care financial leadership experience
- Multi-site healthcare operations experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to build systems and processes from the ground up
- Strong background in cost containment and operational efficiency
- Experience managing accounting teams and financial reporting functions
- Familiarity with healthcare financial software such as MegaData, QuickBooks, and PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
- CPA or advanced financial credential preferred
