We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an ambulatory care clinic travel assignment in Spokane, Washington. In this clinic-focused nursing role, you will work closely with a collaborative care team to deliver high-quality patient care, support clinic workflow, and help create a positive patient experience in a supportive outpatient environment.

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Previous charting system experience required; Epic experience is a plus
• Experience in ambulatory care, family practice, internal medicine, primary care, or urgent care preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide patient education and clinical support
• Comfort with clinical tasks such as vital signs, medication reconciliation, specimen collection, phlebotomy, and telephone triage

Responsibilities

• Support clinic operations by managing inbasket messages, scheduling, and patient follow-up
• Provide clear, compassionate patient education and reinforce care instructions
• Perform routine clinical duties including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and procedural preparation
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record
• Assist with telephone triage, refill requests, and follow-up phone calls as needed
• Support specimen collection, coordination of care, and other clinical support tasks
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in a busy outpatient clinic environment
