• Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology / Infusion Nurse
• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43212 (Central Ohio)
• Setting: Outpatient Oncology Clinic (16 rooms) – outpatient oncology, infusion center
• Assignment Type: Travel RN assignment (13 weeks)
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• End Date: July 6, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 5 x 8-hour shifts (07:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1920 - $2020 per week
• Patient Demographics: Adult oncology patients
• Documentation System: EPIC (required)
• Orientation: 24 hours

Required Qualifications / Oncology Nursing Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an outpatient oncology clinic or infusion center (oncology nursing experience required)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — compact or Ohio state license required at submission
• BLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC charting system (required)
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Clinical proficiency with central line blood draws, PICC line care, port care and access, starting and maintaining IVs
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing

Preferred (Helpful) Skills

• Chemotherapy/infusion experience and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred
• Experience working with high-volume outpatient clinics and managing daily patient volumes

Key Responsibilities / Oncology RN Duties

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult oncology patients in a busy outpatient clinic and infusion center
• Perform central line blood draws, PICC line care, port access/management, IV starts and IV therapy documentation
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy and supportive infusions when applicable, following facility protocols
• Document all patient care and treatments accurately and timely in EPIC
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including pharmacy, social services, radiology, physical therapy, and physicians
• Support a daily patient volume across 16 clinic rooms (up to ~100 visits/day)
• Participate in orientation and ongoing competency training to meet facility and state requirements
• Maintain compliance with credentialing, timely fingerprinting, and facility policies
