Travel Healthcare Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,350–$2,530
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- End Date: January 18, 2027
- Location: Chesapeake, Virginia
- Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, and Cath Holding
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Duration: Primarily 8-hour day shifts, with 4x10-hour scheduling options; shift times vary between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
- Call: Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call; approximately 12 call days per month
- Schedule Expectations: Overtime may be required based on procedural volume, and holiday call coverage is expected
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program leading toward a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist registry
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- One current specialty credential: RCIS, RCVT, or RCES
- Virginia or compact license in hand at the time of submission, when applicable
- Ability to participate in rotating call, including weekends and holidays
- Successful completion of required pre-start education and competency testing
- ARRT credentials are not accepted for this position
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities
- Support minimally invasive cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures while maintaining a safe, sterile procedural environment
- Provide technical support for Electrophysiology procedures and related services
- Support patient care activities in Cath Holding as assigned
- Prepare equipment, supplies, and procedure rooms for scheduled cases
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other members of the cardiovascular care team
- Participate in rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage
- Adapt to variable procedural volume and occasional extended shifts while supporting weekly staffing needs
