- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (06:30 - 17:00)
- Call: Required, up to 4 days per week as needed
- Orientation: 30 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 - $2,680
- Charting System: Epic
- Location: Eureka, CA 95501 — a scenic Northern California coastal community with access to the ocean, redwood trails, and a relaxed small-town feel
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist, cardiac catheterization lab, or interventional cardiovascular experience
- Active ARRT-R certification required; RCIS may be considered with extensive experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Valid Fluoro Permit; pending permits may be considered if already applied for
- Experience with coronary and peripheral diagnostic/interventional procedures preferred
- Ability to work with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient safety skills
- Flexibility to take call and support scheduling needs
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the cath lab for diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
- Assist with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmia cases
- Support permanent pacemaker procedures and other advanced cardiac interventions
- Provide accurate hemodynamic monitoring and maintain a sterile field
- Operate fluoroscopy-related workflows and assist with equipment setup
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the clinical team to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care
- Maintain supplies, equipment readiness, and procedural documentation as needed
- Follow established safety, quality, and workflow standards throughout each shift
