• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: June 29, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (Mon–Fri, 7:00am–5:30pm)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call: Required as needed (includes weekend call rotation)
• Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2080-$2230

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or Radiology Tech experience required (first-time travel techs welcome)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• RCIS or RCES certification strongly preferred (Cath Lab certification)
• Experience with EPIC (CUPID) and XPER Witt hemodynamic monitoring required
• Ability to pass EKG competency exam during compliance (up to 2 attempts)
• Active state license in hand at time of submission
• Previous charge experience required
• Experience in a community hospital setting required
• COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Willingness to float to other campuses as needed
• Education verification required; applicants from schools on the Florida Education Audit list are not eligible
• Background check with no open cases
• No local candidates within 50 miles (remote/ travel requirement)

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with invasive cardiac and vascular procedures: balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left/right heart catheterization, rotablator, and related interventions
• Scrub and circulate for procedures, maintain sterile field, and perform EKG lead placement (Cath Lab tech duties)
• Use EPIC (CUPID) and XPER Witt for charting and invasive hemodynamic monitoring
• Monitor and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and initiate appropriate responses per ACLS protocols
• Participate in call rotation, including scheduled 24-hour weekend call shifts
• Float to other units or campuses as required (especially during volume surges)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV team, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Provide high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and vascular diagnoses
