• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital — STEMI and Stroke Receiving Center (Cardiac Cath Lab)
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• End Date: July 6, 2026
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:00), Monday–Friday with call requirements (including some weekends)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Unit: Cath Lab (4 labs, daily census 6–8) — cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology (IR)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2480–$2660 per week

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in a Cath Lab or interventional radiology setting (cardiac cath lab tech or interventional radiology technologist experience preferred)
• Current California Radiologic Technologist License in-hand (CA license required)
• ARRT (R) certification required; RCIS accepted in lieu of ARRT Advanced Cert
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Fluoroscopy Permit (required)
• Stroke and/or IR experience strongly preferred — experience with STEMI and neurovascular cases a plus
• Ability to float between specialties within the lab as needed
• On-call availability (weekday and weekend rotations as scheduled)
• LA Fire Card within the last 30 days (required)
• Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT and fluoroscopic imaging as well as interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, including cardiac, neuro, and vascular interventions
• Assist and support advanced procedures such as TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, MitraClip, thrombectomy, angioplasty, and stent placement
• Participate in STEMI and stroke activations; deliver timely, high-quality care in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment
• Float between specialties within the lab and provide cross-coverage as required
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic electronic health record (Epic charting)
• Participate in the call rotation, including some weekends and holidays
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Ensure compliance with state and federal safety, radiation, and regulatory standards
