CT / Rad Tech – Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Assignment in Toms River, NJ
Travel CT / Rad Tech opportunity in Toms River, New Jersey for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist or Radiologic Technologist. - Assignment Type: Travel Radiology / Cath Lab
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts
- Shift Duration: 10 hours
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,810 - $3,010
- Location: Toms River, NJ 08755
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Call: Approximately 2 call shifts per week and every 4th weekend
- Orientation: 20 hours
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, or related radiology setting
- Active New Jersey radiology license required prior to start
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- ARRT or CCI RCIS certification required
- Experience with angioplasty, stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, and fluoroscopy preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiovascular environment
- Strong scrub, sterile field, and procedural support skills
Responsibilities
- Support cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases
- Assist with PCI, PTCA, pacemaker insertion, and other cardiac procedures as needed
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field while assisting the physician and procedural team
- Operate imaging and procedural equipment safely and effectively
- Monitor patient status and provide hands-on support throughout procedures
- Respond to urgent cases including STEMI, NSTEMI, arrhythmias, and stroke-related interventions
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient care
