CT Technologist - Hospital Contract Job in Harrison Township, New Jersey
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week local contract opportunity in a hospital setting in Harrison Township, NJ. CT Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of CT Technologist experience in a hospital or comparable clinical setting
- Current applicable state licensure, if required
- ARRT certification in Radiography and advanced CT certification, if required by facility or state guidelines
- BLS certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced acute care environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients to ensure safety, comfort, and image quality
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment according to department standards
- Review images for quality and completeness prior to submission
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection prevention protocols at all times
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in accordance with facility policies
- Provide compassionate, professional care to patients across a variety of hospital-based imaging needs
