Travel Nursing Job Details

- End Date: February 2, 2027
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,650-$2,790
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
- Shift Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Call: As needed based on census and unit needs
- Weekend Coverage: As needed based on unit demand
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients
CVOR Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant CVOR, cardiac catheterization, or cardiovascular procedural nursing experience
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from an accepted provider
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- LTAC experience required
- Strong procedural documentation and electronic health record (EHR) charting experience
- Previous charge nurse experience and Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred
- Ability to support scheduled shifts, call coverage, and weekend needs as assigned
CVOR Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care before, during, and after cardiovascular and cardiac catheterization procedures
- Scrub and circulate for diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), stent placement, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), pacemaker insertion, and electrophysiology procedures
- Monitor patients during procedural sedation and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments, including vascular access and sheath monitoring
- Administer medications, thrombolytics, IV infusions, emergency medications, and blood products according to provider orders and facility policy
- Assist with central venous access, implanted port care, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) procedures, vascular closure systems, and other advanced cardiovascular interventions
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, obtain 12-lead EKGs, and support emergency response protocols
- Maintain radiation safety, laser safety, infection prevention, and patient safety standards throughout each procedure
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and participate in orientation and required education activities
