Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of EEG Technologist or EEG Tech experience required
- Recent hospital-based neurodiagnostic experience preferred
- Ability to perform routine and specialized EEG testing with accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Must meet all applicable state and facility compliance requirements prior to start
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized EEG procedures in a hospital setting
- Prepare patients for neurodiagnostic testing and explain procedures clearly and compassionately
- Monitor, record, and document EEG test results accurately
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with EEG equipment as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to support timely patient care
- Maintain patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout all procedures
- Follow department protocols and quality standards for neurodiagnostic services
