Job Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred
- Physicians with alternative board certification and Emergency Medicine experience may be considered
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to work as a single coverage Emergency Department physician
- Comfort treating a mostly adult patient population
- Willingness to work in a busy emergency department environment
- Case logs may be required if not ABEM
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care in a single-coverage setting
- Evaluate and manage a broad range of adult emergency medicine cases
- Work efficiently in a busy ED with 18 bays
- Collaborate with ER support staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Admit patients as clinically appropriate
- Document care accurately in Meditech
- Maintain a patient-centered approach while supporting a high-demand department
