Required Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of an accredited residency in Emergency Medicine or related specialty
• Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an emergency department (ED) setting
• Current and valid DEA registration
• Board certification not required (board-certified or board-eligible candidates encouraged to apply)

Core Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients presenting to the emergency department
• Perform focused patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans

• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and transfers
• Accurately document all patient encounters, procedures, and clinical decision-making in the medical record
