- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30)
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 40 hours per week
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,390 - $2,520
- Call Requirement: At least 1-2 weekday call shifts per week, plus 1 weekend regular shift with call every 8 weeks
Job Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred/required for this travel RN assignment
- Endoscopy, GI, procedural, or ambulatory care nursing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to meet call expectations and maintain a consistent weekday schedule
- Strong communication, patient advocacy, and teamwork skills
- Ability to complete compliance documents within required timelines
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures and support them throughout the peri-procedural experience
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Assist physicians and clinical teams during endoscopy and GI procedures
- Support recovery and post-procedure observation with a focus on patient comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow facility protocols
- Participate in call coverage as scheduled and collaborate effectively with the care team
