Qualifications / Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, janitorial, or a related field (hospital environmental services preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical support team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and infection prevention
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work on-site in Philadelphia (19104)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing duties in bathrooms, patient rooms, and other assigned hospital areas
- Follow established hospital protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a safe, hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors
- Restock supplies, maintain cleaning equipment, and report supply needs
- Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Collaborate with other environmental services staff to meet departmental goals and support overall patient care
