Key Qualifications (Epic HIM / Epic PB)
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Health Information Management (HIM) Analyst or Professional Billing (PB) Analyst, preferably working with Epic HIM/PB modules
- Epic HIM or Epic PB certification required (must be certified)
- Practical experience with coding and billing processes and revenue cycle concepts
- Familiarity with 3M Solventum and interface teams is a plus
- Strong analytical, research, and optimization skills focused on Epic build and testing
- Experience building, testing, and optimizing Epic modules and workflows
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills for cross-functional projects
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, build, test, and optimize Epic HIM and PB modules to support clinical documentation and billing operations
- Collaborate with coding teams, interface teams, and technical stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow integration and data accuracy
- Provide recommendations for process improvements to increase coding accuracy and revenue cycle efficiency
- Participate in downtime call rotations and provide on-site support as needed
- Support ongoing Epic certification, training initiatives, and change management efforts
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, organizational, and payer standards related to HIM and professional billing
