Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department, ER, or acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Comfortable working night shifts and delivering dependable patient care during high-acuity situations
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
Emergency Department Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and respond quickly to changing clinical needs
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and provider orders
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
- Maintain a calm, professional presence in a high-energy emergency care setting
