Job Requirements
- No minimum years of recent Emergency Department, ER, or acute care nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and reliability for scheduled travel nurse coverage
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring in the Emergency Department
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely, effective care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly
- Respond quickly and calmly to changing patient needs and urgent situations
