• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,690 - $2,830
• Shift: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM); may be scheduled for day shifts as needed
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Estimated Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• On-Call: Required
• Float: True float position across multiple ED campuses

Job Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Minimum 3 years of emergency room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Travel nursing experience required
• Strong clinical judgment in fast-paced emergency care settings
• Ability to adapt quickly to different unit workflows and patient needs
• Comfortable working with adult, pediatric, geriatric, infant, adolescent, and neonatal patient populations

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and continual reassessment
• Advocate for patients while supporting safety, quality, and positive clinical outcomes
• Provide emergency nursing care for a wide range of presentations, including trauma, stroke, respiratory distress, behavioral health, and medical emergencies
• Perform triage, monitor patients closely, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support treatment plans and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care
• Float between assigned emergency departments as scheduled and adapt to changing unit needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards in a high-acuity environment
