Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department or ER nursing experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Associate degree in Nursing required
- Meditech experience preferred
- Ability to care for adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency care environment
- Strong teamwork, professionalism, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients with diagnoses such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related concerns, and hypertension
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, timely treatment decisions
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR and follow established emergency department workflows
- Respond effectively to changes in patient acuity and prioritize care in a busy ED setting
- Contribute to a supportive, team-focused culture while delivering compassionate patient care
