Travel Nursing Job Details
- Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Assignment Type: Travel contract
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
- Location: St. Louis Park/Minneapolis, Minnesota
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130–$2,250
- Start Date: October 4, 2026
- Assignment Duration: 8 weeks, ending November 29, 2026
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: Rotating 12-hour evening and night shifts, including approximately 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. start times
- Weekend and Holiday Coverage: As needed
- On-Call: None
Travel ER RN Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent Emergency Room or Emergency Department nursing experience
- Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license; Minnesota is a non-compact state
- Current NIHSS certification
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association or ENPC certification
- Current TNCC certification
- Ability to float within the Emergency Room as needed
- Availability to meet applicable weekend and holiday scheduling needs
Emergency Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
- Perform focused assessments, prioritize care, and respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Administer medications and treatments safely while following established clinical protocols
- Support emergency interventions, stabilization, and patient transitions to the appropriate level of care
- Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to promote efficient, high-quality patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
- Adapt to changing patient volumes and acuity while maintaining a calm, professional approach
