• Contract Length: 13 weeks (travel nurse / contract RN)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: Variable (weekends every other; 1 holiday per contract as needed)
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• On-Site Position: Must be able to work on-site in Bridgeton, NJ

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years recent Emergency Department (ED) / ER RN experience required — high-acuity and trauma experience strongly preferred
• At least 1 completed travel contract assignment required (travel nurse / Travel RN experience)
• Active New Jersey RN license OR Compact State RN license (must be valid)
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required and valid throughout assignment
• Ability to complete full orientation as scheduled (no rescheduling permitted)
• Maximum of 3 days RTO (Requested Time Off) accepted; no block scheduling or special requests
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills; proficiency with EMR documentation preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to ED patients, including trauma and critical care cases
• Rapidly assess, triage, and intervene in emergency situations and acute presentations
• Perform ED-specific procedures and collaborate on advanced life support interventions when needed
• Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic medical record
• Participate in all required orientation, training sessions, and on-site competency checks, including virtual and in-person classes
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including timely badge acquisition and HealthStream module completion
