Experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week contract in Harrison Township, NJ. Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room RN experience required
- BSN required
- At least one completed travel nursing contract assignment required
- High-volume, fast-paced emergency care experience preferred
- Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required
- AHA BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- All required certifications must be active at time of submission
Emergency Room RN Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment, triage, and nursing care for patients presenting with emergent and urgent conditions
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and implement physician orders in a fast-paced ER environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow and quality patient outcomes
- Respond effectively to high-acuity situations, trauma cases, and changing patient conditions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Participate fully in required orientation, virtual onboarding activities, in-person classes, and unit-based training
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while upholding safety, clinical excellence, and professional standards
