• Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire (Portsmouth, NH 03801) — travel nursing job in New England
• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (13-week assignment)
• Setting: Full-Service Emergency Department (FSED) — Emergency Department Nurse / ED RN role
• Start Date: March 23, 2026
• End Date: June 22, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,910–$2,010 per week
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts) — Night Shift ER RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active RN license required (Compact license required at submission) — eligible for New Hampshire practice
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a hospital or FSED setting
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS; TNCC; PALS or ENPC (one required, not both)
• Preferred certifications: CEN, CPEN, or TCRN
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and acute care skills; ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced ED

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency nursing care for a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Assess, triage, stabilize, and manage patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float between network EDs as needed (Portsmouth ED, Seabrook ED) and adapt to varied emergency care workflows
• Demonstrate critical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to manage high-acuity patients
