Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift | 13-Week Contract
Travel ER RN job: join a fast-paced Emergency Department for a 13-week night shift contract and deliver high-quality emergency nursing care using evidence-based practice and strong clinical judgment.
You’ll care for a diverse patient population alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team. This is an on-site assignment in Weston, FL 33331—a welcoming community with convenient access to local parks, dining, and everyday amenities.

Job Requirements (ER RN)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room / Emergency Department RN experience required (first-time travel nurses accepted)
- License: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending licenses not accepted)
- Certifications (required at submission): BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, PALS
- Additional Certification: NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start)
- EMR: Epic EMR experience required
- Core ER Nursing Skills: Triage, dysrhythmia management, isolation precautions/PPE, ventilator care, BiPAP/CPAP, IV vasopressors, central line care/management, arterial line management
- References: 2 references from a direct supervisor/manager (or unit leadership)
Responsibilities (Emergency Nursing)
- Perform rapid assessment, triage, and prioritization of ED patients across a wide range of acuity levels
- Initiate and manage emergency interventions, including airway/ventilation support, hemodynamic stabilization, and medication administration per protocol
- Monitor and manage cardiac rhythms, respond to clinical deterioration, and escalate care appropriately
- Provide emergency care for patients requiring advanced therapies such as IV vasopressors, central line/arterial line monitoring, and non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP)
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, lab, and inpatient teams to ensure safe patient throughput and disposition
- Document accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (Epic) and follow department policies, procedures, and clinical pathways
- Maintain infection prevention standards, including isolation precautions and appropriate PPE use
