- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks

- Location: Wilson, NC 27893
- Patient Population: All ages
- EMR: Meditech experience preferred
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,800 to $1,890
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Experience in a fast-paced acute care or hospital emergency department setting
- Strong teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and adaptability
- Ability to float as needed based on assignment requirements
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
- Assess, monitor, and treat patients experiencing respiratory distress, overdoses, CHF, dialysis-related concerns, hypertension, and other acute diagnoses
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff to support timely patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and support workflow in the electronic health record
- Use sound clinical judgment to prioritize care in a busy, high-acuity ED environment
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellent patient outcomes
