Requirements / Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Physician license (MD or DO) — state license required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (within 5 years of residency)
- Active DEA license required prior to start date
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a Family Medicine or primary care setting
- Comfortable seeing a mix of pediatric and adult patients (newborn through adolescent care preferred)
- Immunizations/clearances required for credentialing: current flu vaccine (2025–2026), TB status/X-ray (within 90 days of start), documented MMR, Hep B, Varicella titers or complete series, and Tdap within last 10 years
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient family medicine and primary care services to all ages, including preventive care and chronic disease management
- See a minimum of 18 patients per day; maintain efficient, high-quality patient encounters
- Provide general pediatric care and well-child visits (newborn through adolescent)
- Perform well woman care; IUD insertion/removal experience preferred
- Manage common acute and chronic conditions, including chronic pain management within clinic scope
- Complete timely documentation and ensure chart closure within 72 hours
- Collaborate with nursing staff and multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and referrals
