Anesthesiologist – General Job in Cottonwood, Arizona

Job Details

• Position: Anesthesiologist – General
• Location: Cottonwood, Arizona
• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Call Coverage: Scheduled night call and 24-hour call shifts may be required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $10,670 - $11,240
• Case Mix: OR, endoscopy, and OB anesthesia
• Patient Volume: Approximately 4-8 patients per day
• Support Staff: CRNAs and nurses
• Charting System: Cerner
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 2 weeks

Job Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Current Arizona medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required
• DEA registration required
• BLS certification required
• Current OB anesthesia experience required
• Minimum 1 year of anesthesiology experience required
• Ability to provide anesthesia coverage across OB, OR, and endoscopy cases
• Comfort working with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for daytime OR and endoscopy cases
• Support OB anesthesia coverage, including nights and weekends as needed
• Work closely with CRNAs, nurses, and the broader clinical team to support safe, efficient patient care
• Deliver anesthesia services for a diverse surgical mix, including general surgery, urology, total joints, and advanced breast cancer procedures
• Manage endoscopy cases with propofol infusion when appropriate
• Maintain timely documentation and complete credentialing requirements as assigned
