• Shift Length: 16-hour day shifts
• Case Mix: Primarily urology and GI, with occasional endoscopy
• Charting System: Paper and iPro
• Call Schedule: No in-house call, pager call, or weekend call required

Job Requirements

• Board certification or fellowship required
• Active physician license required
• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an approved anesthesiology residency
• ECFMG and FLEX required, if applicable
• At least 1 year of anesthesia experience preferred
• Ability to obtain emergency privileges in a timely manner
• Comfort working with adult patients only

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate anesthesia department activities
• Provide medical management for patients undergoing surgery and other procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and assessments
• Obtain and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and procedures with patients
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia
• Monitor physiological status throughout procedures
• Deliver clinical interventions as needed to support patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with the care team in both supervisory and hands-on anesthesia settings
