Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $11,090-$11,690
- Location: New Albany, Indiana area
- Assignment Length: Initial 13-week locum tenens assignment with potential to renew
- Schedule: 5 days per week, may include weekends
- Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
- Hours: Typically 40-45 hours per week
- Call: No call
- Nights: No nights
- Holidays: No holidays
- Weekend Coverage: Occasional Saturday coverage may be needed
Job Requirements
- Board Certified Anesthesiologist
- Active Indiana or Kentucky medical license
- Minimum 1 year of anesthesiology experience required
- ACLS and BLS certification
- DEA registration
- Strong proficiency with nerve blocks and regional anesthesia
- Comfortable managing a broad anesthesia case mix
- Ability to complete rapid cross-credentialing and temporary privileges
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a diverse case mix, including endoscopy, urology, orthopedics/spine/podiatry, gynecology/general surgery, and eyes/ENT
- Deliver safe, efficient anesthetic management throughout the perioperative period
- Support weekday coverage with flexibility for occasional weekend cases
- Work collaboratively with the care team to promote excellent patient outcomes
- Utilize advanced regional anesthesia skills, including nerve blocks, when appropriate
