Job Requirements / Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required
- Active state medical license in Pennsylvania (PA)
- Comfortable providing anesthesia across a broad case mix: general, cardiac, pediatric, obstetric, pain medicine, and critical care
- Experience with nerve blocks and regional anesthesia techniques
- Willingness to participate in call coverage
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration during department transition
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and procedural cases
- Provide general, pediatric, obstetric, cardiac, pain medicine, and critical care anesthesia services as needed
- Perform nerve blocks and advanced regional anesthesia techniques
- Participate in call coverage and perioperative consultations
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and ancillary staff during a department transition into a larger healthcare system
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to institutional policies and safety protocols
