- Position Type: Locum tenens Anesthesiologist
- Location: Webster, Texas (Greater Houston area)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,760 - $3,220
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
- Duration: 24 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour days
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with weekend call coverage as needed
- Practice Setting: Large tertiary surgical program with obstetric coverage and dedicated cardiovascular call support
Job Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible Anesthesiologist
- At least 1 year of anesthesiology experience preferred; motivated new graduates may be considered
- Comfortable working in a physician-led care-team model with CRNAs
- Ability to support a flexible schedule across multiple facilities as needed
- Strong clinical judgment, patient safety focus, and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesiology coverage for a busy surgical services program in the Houston metro area
- Supervise 1 to 3 ORs under a collaborative care-team model
- Support a mix of scheduled daytime shifts, restricted call, and unrestricted call coverage
- Provide obstetric anesthesia coverage and support overnight call when assigned
- Collaborate with CRNAs, surgeons, and perioperative teams to deliver efficient, high-quality care
- Contribute to a safe, patient-centered environment across a broad range of cases
