Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,070 - $3,580
• Start Date: 11/1/2026
• Duration: 24 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with daytime coverage, overnight call from home, and weekend call from home as needed
• Practice Environment: Large tertiary surgical program with obstetric anesthesia coverage and cardiovascular call support
• Care Model: Supervision of 1 to 3 operating rooms within a collaborative anesthesia care team model

Job Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active physician licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Texas
• Experience preferred; motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong clinical skills in a broad anesthesia practice
• Comfort working in a collaborative setting with CRNAs and surgical teams
• Ability to provide coverage for daytime cases, overnight call, and weekend call

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a broad surgical case mix
• Supervise CRNAs and support a care team model in the operating room
• Manage daytime anesthesia coverage and participate in call coverage
• Support obstetric anesthesia needs and complex tertiary care cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, and support staff to ensure efficient perioperative workflows
• Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on safety, communication, and professionalism
