Job Details (Locum Tenens Anesthesia)

• Position: Locum Tenens CRNA – General Anesthesia
• Location: Clinton, IA (on-site)
• Start Date: ASAP (target start 03/16/2026)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (through 06/15/2026)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• On-Call: If willing, once trained
• Setting: Inpatient OR / Anesthesia Services
• OR Capacity: 4 ORs, 1 GI suite, 1 OB suite
• Typical Volume: ~50–55 cases/week
• EMR: Epic
• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $6,799 – $7,554

Job Requirements (CRNA Qualifications)

• Certification: Board Certified CRNA (required)
• Licensure: Active Iowa CRNA license or active compact license (required)
• Experience: CRNA experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
• Practice Model: Comfortable practicing independently in a hospital OR setting
• Professional History: Clean background and credentialing history (required)
• Credentialing: NPDB report pulled within the last 30 days (or within 90 days) (required)
• Availability: Must be able to work Monday–Friday (site may consider less than full-time, but not partial weeks)

Responsibilities (Anesthesia Provider)

• Provide anesthesia services for General, Ortho, GI, Urology, ENT, and OB cases (no head/heart)
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
• Manage induction, airway, intraoperative monitoring, emergence, and safe transitions of care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, and perioperative teams to support efficient case flow and patient safety
• Document care accurately and timely in Epic and follow facility clinical protocols
• Participate in call coverage if willing and once trained
