CRNA Job Requirements
- Active Texas CRNA license
- Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience in general surgery anesthesia care
- Comfort working in a medically directed anesthesia setting
- Ability to provide accurate documentation in Epic
- Willingness to review and report malpractice history during the application process
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for bread-and-butter general surgery cases
- Perform preoperative assessments and prepare patients for anesthesia
- Deliver safe, effective anesthesia care throughout the surgical procedure
- Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team to support smooth daily workflow
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic)
- Maintain a patient-centered focus with attention to safety, communication, and efficiency
- Support a reliable weekday schedule with no call and no weekend commitment
