• Schedule: Full-time; preference for Day 4x10 (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM, includes 30-minute lunch). 8s/10s/12s may be considered.
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days

• Coverage Expectation: Must be available 4 weeks/month and work every week
• Patient Volume: Approximately 1–9 cases/day (varies)
• Patient Population: All ages (no neonatal)
• EMR: Epic (preferred)
• Credentialing/Privileging: Typically 90–120 days (no emergency/temp privileges)

Job Requirements (CRNA / Anesthesia)

• Certification: NBCRNA board certification required
• Licensure: Active Kentucky CRNA/APRN license required (open to licensing)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year CRNA experience required (no new grads); recent large medical center experience required
• Preferred Experience: Trauma experience strongly preferred
• Required Skills: Intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, invasive line placement
• Practice Notes: No OB; blocks not likely required
• Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Responsibilities (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care within a medically directed anesthesia care team model
• Deliver anesthesia services across a diverse case mix including Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro (no heart; no OB; no neonatal)
• Support NORA (Non-Operating Room Anesthesia) coverage as required
• Perform clinically indicated invasive monitoring and procedures (e.g., arterial lines, central lines)
• Document anesthesia care accurately and efficiently in the EMR (Epic preferred)
• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, residents, CRNAs, and anesthesia techs to maintain patient safety and efficient throughput
