Job Details

• Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15206 — East End (Pittsburgh CRNA jobs, Pennsylvania anesthesia jobs)
• Facility: Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) — outpatient anesthesia
• Position Type: Locum tenens / travel contract
• Start Date: April 20, 2026 (flexible to April 27, 2026)
• End Date: July 20, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time — five 8-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday
• Minimum Commitment: 12 shifts per month
• Case Mix: Urology, orthopedics, plastics, ophthalmology (outpatient/general anesthesia, monitored anesthesia care)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $7,920 - $8,350 per week

Job Requirements

• Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
• Active Pennsylvania CRNA license or eligibility to obtain Pennsylvania license (PA)
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience in ambulatory surgery center or acute care setting
• Comfortable providing anesthesia for a variety of outpatient surgical cases (ASC anesthesia)
• Available to start on or after April 20, 2026

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across urology, orthopedics, plastics, and ophthalmology cases
• Perform pre-operative assessments and provide post-anesthesia care as required
• Administer general anesthesia, MAC, and regional techniques as appropriate for outpatient procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, perioperative nurses, and ASC staff to optimize patient flow and outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely anesthesia documentation in the EHR and comply with facility policies and regulations
