CRNA Job Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse in Illinois (RN)
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Current certification from the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA certification)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as a CRNA
- Full-time availability for 8- or 10-hour shifts
- Experience with perioperative anesthesia care and OR workflows preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain/verify informed consent
- Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and perioperative plans with patients and families
- Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and OB cases
- Continuously monitor patients' physiological status and manage intraoperative changes
- Perform clinical interventions as needed in the operating room (OR)
- Document anesthesia care accurately in iPro EHR and communicate effectively with surgical, nursing, and perioperative teams
