Job Details
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,145 – $1,272
- Location: Harrison Township, NJ (08062) — New Jersey EEG jobs / NJ healthcare
- Setting: Acute care hospital (electroencephalography, EKG/Holter support)
- Employment Type: Travel EEG Technologist / travel healthcare
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week (32 hours/week); flexibility required, including weekends and holidays
- Assignment Length: 10 weeks
- Start Date: June 15, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of EEG technologist experience in an acute care hospital or clinical neurodiagnostics setting
- R. EEG T. (Registered EEG Technologist) certification from ABRET required
- Completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program (certificate or associate degree) or equivalent
- Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Travel experience preferred; reliable, flexible, and able to complete facility onboarding quickly
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and extended EEGs, montage setup, and neurophysiologic recordings with attention to artifact reduction and patient safety
- Assist with EKGs, Holter monitors, and other cardiac monitoring when needed
- Interpret and document test data accurately and communicate findings to neurologists and clinical teams
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to support patient care in the acute care environment
- Complete required orientation, competency assessments, and training modules (virtual and in-person) and obtain facility badge promptly
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and documentation protocols
