Travel Electrophysiology Tech opportunity in Salt Lake City, UT. Join a modern, high-acuity EP lab for a rewarding 13-week assignment supporting a busy cardiac team. This is an excellent fit for an experienced EP Tech, Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, or Electrophysiology Technologist seeking travel healthcare jobs in Utah with consistent daytime hours, strong teamwork, and hands-on procedural experience.
Job Details
- Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84124 — a welcoming city setting that offers a vibrant backdrop for your next travel assignment.
- Setting: Electrophysiology Lab / Cardiac Cath Lab
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 - $1,860
- Equipment/Systems: Philips equipment and EPIC EMR
- Work Environment: Two-lab EP unit with a collaborative day-shift team
- Attire: Navy scrubs provided
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of electrophysiology or cardiac cath lab experience required
- Strong knowledge of electrophysiology procedures and EP lab workflow
- RT, CVT, RN, or RCES required
- Scrubbing and mapping experience preferred
- Experience with EPIC EMR and Philips systems is a plus
- Flexible, hard-working, and a strong team player
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced procedural and cardiac care environment
Responsibilities
- Support electrophysiology procedures in a busy EP lab setting
- Assist with ablations, PPM, PCD, and LAAC procedures
- Prepare equipment and maintain readiness for daily case flow
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure safe, efficient patient care
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented healthcare environment
- Provide hands-on procedural support during a typical caseload of 5-9 cases per day
