Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist required
- 1 year of experience in CT or MRI preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required
- Current Registered Technologist (R) credential required
- Current Registered Technologist (MR) credential required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ARRT MRI certification required within 2 years of hire
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI studies according to established radiologist protocols
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare the scan room and equipment before patient imaging
- Position patients, coils, and imaging equipment appropriately for each exam
- Maintain clear communication with patients throughout the scanning process
- Support accurate, efficient imaging workflows while upholding patient safety and comfort
