Nurse Practitioner Qualifications and Requirements
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) required
- Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license required at submission
- Robotic First Assist Certification required
- BLS and ACLS (AHA); ATLS or ATCN required
- NPDB self-query report, pulled within the last 30 days, required at presentation
- Cerner/Oracle EMR experience preferred
- Robotic gynecologic surgery or gynecology surgical first assist experience strongly preferred
- Minimum 1 year of relevant surgical NP or gynecology first-assist experience required; new graduates will not be considered
Gynecologic Surgical First Assist Responsibilities
- Provide first assist support for robotic gynecologic surgeries in the operating room
- Work alongside the surgeon during cases in a collaborative, supervised environment
- Support a daily surgical volume of approximately 2-6 adult gynecologic cases
- Contribute to efficient case flow, perioperative support, and high-quality patient care
- Support accurate documentation in Cerner/Oracle EMR and help maintain smooth OR workflows
