• Setting: Outpatient hematology/oncology clinic coverage
• Location: Towson, Maryland
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Call: No call
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,730 - $2,920
• Work Environment: Full-time coverage preferred; one provider ideal, with the option to consider two part-time providers

Physician Assistant Job Requirements

• Active Physician Assistant license and eligibility to practice in Maryland
• 1+ year of experience in hematology/oncology, oncology, internal medicine, or hospital medicine preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative oncology care team
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations in the outpatient clinic setting
• Diagnose and manage hematology and oncology patients throughout their treatment plan
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
• Monitor patients receiving therapy and adjust care plans as needed
• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Partner with physicians and clinical staff to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care
