Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (state-specific certification required)
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience; hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred — relevant clinical support experience a plus
• Ability to reliably work 12-hour night shifts (night shift CNA experience preferred)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-focused skills
• Current CPR certification preferred (BLS certification recommended)
• Ability to perform patient transfers, assist with ADLs, and follow established care plans

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under nursing staff supervision, consistent with CNA scope of practice
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Monitor, measure, and accurately record vital signs and patient status
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times — follow infection control and safety protocols
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation and communicate observations to the healthcare team
• Support a collaborative, positive work environment with fellow CNAs, RNs, and clinical staff
