Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long-Term Care Night Contract in Berlin, Wisconsin

CNA Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $810–$870
- Location: Berlin, Wisconsin
- Healthcare Setting: Long-term care and rehabilitation
- Contract Length: 6 weeks
- Start Date: November 23, 2026
- End Date: January 2, 2027
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
- Holiday Schedule: Holiday rotation as needed
- Float Expectations: May float throughout the facility within the CNA skill set and to affiliated locations within approximately 60 miles
- Orientation: Four days total, including onboarding and precepted shifts
- Resident Assignment: Approximately 1:10 to 1:15
Certified Nursing Assistant Job Requirements
- Current Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant credential
- Current AHA Basic Life Support certification
- At least 2 years of long-term care experience required
- Recent experience in a long-term care facility required
- Previous travel assignment experience required; local candidates may be considered
- High school diploma or equivalent; an applicable certificate or associate degree may be required
- Experience caring for residents in long-term care, post-acute, and dementia care settings
- Proficiency with peri-care and catheter care
- Medication administration certification strongly preferred
- Experience with electronic documentation; Epic and Pyxis experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts, rotating weekends, holidays as needed, and float within the designated service area
CNA Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and safe direct care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation environment
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and repositioning
- Perform peri-care and catheter care according to established procedures
- Support residents with dementia and other complex care needs
- Observe residents, report changes in condition promptly, and communicate effectively with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team
- Accurately document care provided and resident responses in the electronic medical record
- Maintain resident dignity, privacy, comfort, and safety at all times
- Follow infection prevention, fall prevention, safety, and facility policies
- Collaborate with team members to promote continuity of care across long-term care and rehabilitation services
