• Setting: Hospital – Surgical Services (perioperative, operating room support)
• Assignment Type: Travel healthcare job / Travel CNA contract
• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• End Date: November 30, 2026
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Shift: Evenings (2:00pm – 10:30pm), 8-hour shifts, 5 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $550 – $590

Job Requirements – CNA Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in the specialty applying for (surgical services / perioperative experience preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association) — current and not pending
• Permanent Ohio CNA license in hand at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts 1/1/23 and forward)
• At least one supervisory reference in the specialty required (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (nicotine testing is NOT required for CNA travelers per current facility policy)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Completion of pre-start modules and onsite fingerprinting prior to start date

Responsibilities – Surgical Support Aide / Clinical Support

• Assist surgical teams with patient preparation, transport, and support before and after procedures (perioperative patient care)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of surgical areas and equipment, support infection control standards
• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care in the surgical services unit as a CNA
• Collaborate with RNs, surgical techs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and perioperative infection control practices
• Participate in required training, assessments, and ongoing education modules for travel healthcare staff
