Travel CNA Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $890–$950
- Location: Wabasha, Minnesota
- Healthcare Setting: Long-term care and skilled nursing facility
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, approximately 5:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
- Hours: 48 scheduled hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, with flexibility to work additional weekends when needed
- Holiday Requirement: Holiday rotation
- Call Requirements: No on-call or callback requirement
- Float Requirement: May float to other units as needed
- Orientation: 8 hours
- Scrubs: Any professional color
Certified Nursing Assistant Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of CNA experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Active Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant license
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- COVID-19 vaccination; approved exemptions may be considered
- Ability to provide safe care for residents requiring two-person assistance with transfers and bed mobility, including use of Hoyer lifts and EZ Stand equipment
- Strong attendance, reliability, resilience, and ability to manage changing priorities
- Compassion for older adults and a commitment to respectful, resident-centered care
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with nurses and coworkers
- Matrix charting experience is preferred
Long-Term Care CNA Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents in long-term care and rehabilitation settings
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, repositioning, mobility, and toileting
- Safely perform transfers and bed mobility using appropriate equipment and team-assist techniques
- Support residents with varying levels of independence, including total-care, ambulatory, and cognitively intact residents
- Deliver attentive care to residents receiving short-term rehabilitation or end-of-life support
- Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the nursing team
- Complete accurate documentation and charting according to unit standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful resident environment
- Collaborate with nurses, aides, therapy staff, and other healthcare team members to promote quality outcomes
- Float between units and adapt to changing resident-care needs as assigned
